About Stephen J Dainesi, MD
Dr. Dainesi founded the Pain Management Center in 1991 after completing his residencies in Anesthesia and Pain Management at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, New York, NY, and graduated from Mount Sinai Medical School in New York, NY. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH.
He is board-certified in Anesthesia and has added qualifications in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Also, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Dainesi’s areas of interest include the treatment of low back and neck pain including radiofrequency lesioning and spinal endoscopy, geriatric pain medicine, and the treatment of nerve injuries including complex regional pain syndrome.
