Emilia Louise Raimondo, DO, a board-certified neurologist, earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

She completed her clinical neurophysiology fellowship, neurology residency, and internal medicine internship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Raimondo has always been fascinated by neuroanatomy and had some wonderful mentors during her neurology training who greatly influenced her. She appreciates that the brain is such an intricate organ and that the field has so much growth potential.

At Elliot Neurology Associates, she practices general neurology in the outpatient setting, as well as performing nerve conduction studies/electromyography (EMG), and interpreting electroencephalograms (EEGs).

When discussing the ideal patient/provider relationship, Dr. Raimondo stresses that, “Patients must feel comfortable with their provider, feel that they are heard and that their provider has their best interests in mind. I strive to have this relationship with every patient.”

In her free time, she enjoys physical exercise, playing soccer, and hiking.
