About Shanon H Gruchot, MD

Dr. Shanon Gruchot is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After attending The University of Alabama, Dr. Gruchot received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, which is where she grew up. She also completed an internship and residency through the University of Tennessee at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Gruchot enjoys both well-child and acute care of newborns through adolescents with a strong emphasis on patient/family education and preventative medicine.

Dr. Gruchot lives in Londonderry with her husband and two goldendoodles. She raised her three children here and loves being a part of this community by volunteering and being a small part of the lives of so many families she cares for. Watching her patients go from newborns to adults and getting to know their families along the way is her favorite part of being their pediatrician. In her spare time, she travels frequently to visit her now adult children, enjoys reading, hiking, going to the beach, and watching Alabama football!
