About Shannon K Ward, APRN

Shannon Ward, APRN has been board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2017. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at Walden University. Shannon began her career as an RN in inpatient endoscopy and also worked in acute care inpatient services for many years. Shannon worked for the Department of Corrections as an APRN in primary care, before going back to her true passion, gastroenterology. She joined CMC in 2018, working in both the inpatient side as well as the outpatient gastroenterology practice. Shannon’s clinical interests are liver diseases including cirrhosis and hepatitis C. She enjoys reading, and baking and loves camping with her family.
