As an Elliot Urgent Care Center patient, you will receive two bills – one from the Elliot Hospital for services rendered at Urgent Care, and one from Elliot Emergency Medical Services for the provider who evaluated and treated you.
If your Urgent Care visit includes any diagnostic testing, additional charges will occur:
- for lab work done on site or sent out for additional testing.
- for x-ray interpretation. Southern New Hampshire Radiology Associates will send a bill for interpreting your diagnostic test.
- In some instances, a prior authorization may be required by your insurance for CT scans or other procedures.
All services will be billed directly to your insurance company. Coverage for services at Urgent Care vary by insurance plan and you may be required to meet your annual deductibles before your insurance company will pay for the healthcare services you receive. Your insurance company may also require you to pay a percentage of the bill, called “co-insurance” in addition to a “co-pay”.
We recommend that you review your insurance benefits or contact your insurance provider to determine your coverage and identify any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur. The contact information for your insurance company is located on the back of your insurance card.
For those who do not have insurance, we require individuals to make a $150. 00 deposit at the time of service and anything further will be billed. Questions about your bill can be made by contacting the Customer Service Department at 603-338-6913. Representatives are available Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
