At the Elliot Hospital and Elliot 1-Day Surgery and Endoscopy Center, experienced, board-certified surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical technologists provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive surgical care.
We are specially trained in performing minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries using cutting-edge technology for a range of surgical specialties for both children and adults.
Our surgeons use the most versatile, industry-leading da Vinci Xi surgical system for performing robotic-assisted surgeries, as well as Mako SmartRobotics™ robotic arm-assisted surgery for joint replacements.
Whether you’re scheduled for an outpatient procedure or require a hospital stay, every surgical services team member is committed to making your experience as positive and comfortable as possible.
Surgical Specialties
The Bariatric Surgery Program provides the surgical and peri-operative support services patients need to achieve significant weight loss and health improvement.
General Surgeons are experts in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions including diverticulitis, appendicitis, gallbladder disease, hernias, heartburn (GERD), and more.
The Elliot Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Center’s experienced team of dedicated doctors and nurses provides oral and maxillofacial services to patients from age of birth through the continuum of life. We provide patient focused care, offering patient care and services with an emphasis on creating a supportive and healing environment for patients and families.

Preparing for Your Surgery
Our experienced surgical and endoscopy team will ensure you are prepared for your scheduled surgery or outpatient procedure, whether it’s at the Elliot Hospital or at our 1-Day Surgery & Endoscopy Center. Although we’ll customize your treatment plan for your particular procedure or surgery as either an inpatient or an outpatient, there are a few basics you can expect.
Post-Anesthesia Care
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides a safe environment for patients following an operative procedure for which anesthesia has been required. Regardless if you have surgery as an outpatient or require admission to the hospital following more extensive surgery, you will first be admitted to Surgical Day Care (SDC).
