The Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (CICU) is located on the fifth floor of the Elliot Hospital. The unit is comprised of three private rooms and 22 semi-private rooms. Each nurses' station is equipped with a central monitoring system to provide cardiac monitoring for every patient as well as a telemetry technician to assist in monitoring patients.
The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is located on the first floor of the Elliot Hospital. The unit has ten private rooms. This unit is a designated area for patients who may not meet criteria for an inpatient admission but require extended monitoring or testing.
The Fitch Unit provides compassionate care to inpatients with medical and oncology diagnoses.
The Fuller Unit provides care to post-surgical patients requiring inpatient care and post-surgical telemetry monitoring. The unit is located on the eighth floor and has 55-60 beds for various surgical patients, including general abdominal, orthopaedic, bariatric, ENT, vascular, lung, plastics, urology, breast, trauma, and spine surgeries.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at The Elliot has 16 beds to care for critically ill patients who need continuous care and observation.
The Geropsychiatric Unit offers multidisciplinary services for older adults with acute psychiatric problems. Utilizing a team that provides medical, emotional, and geriatric psychiatric care, the patient and family are supported as they strive to return to an optimal level of independence and functioning.
From a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), managed by board certified neonatologists, to a dedicated 21-bed Pediatric/Adolescent Unit with central monitoring capabilities, and a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room, kids are given expert care here.

As the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in southern New Hampshire caring for preterm infants as early as 23 weeks gestation, our Elliot Hospital NICU is a leader in caring for the tiniest of patients.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides a safe environment for patients following an operative procedure for which anesthesia has been required. Regardless if you have surgery as an outpatient or require admission to the hospital following more extensive surgery, you will first be admitted to Surgical Day Care (SDC).
The Pathways Unit is a 16-bed, short-term adult behavioral health inpatient unit designed to provide a safe and healing environment for patients in crisis. Pathways provides care to voluntary and involuntary adults aged 18 and older who struggle with safety issues, such as suicidal thinking, homicidal ideation or agitation, and thought disorders or psychosis.
