Hand Therapy Rehabilitation Program

The Elliot Rehabilitation Services offers a team of occupational and physical therapists specially trained in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. In 2017, we procured New Hampshire Hand Therapy and have integrated them into our team. Our focus is on maximizing function and regaining quality of life for patients managing hand and upper extremity dysfunctions.

  • Post-surgical care including tendon lacerations/reconstructive hand and wrist surgery

  • Repetitive stress injuries

Our Approach

Our therapists work with a patient-centered focus to determine a treatment plan that ensures maximal success for your hand rehabilitation. We will utilize a variety of advanced therapy techniques including:

  • Custom Splinting
  • Sensory Re-education
  • Exercise programming
  • Scar massage and desensitization
  • Ergonomics Education
  • Graston Technique
  • Low Level Laser Therapy

Advanced Care/Expertise

We offer Physical and Occupational therapists with advanced training and certification (CHT- Certified Hand Therapists) to work one on one with our patients. We also offer work conditioning and functional capacity evaluations for patients who have undergone significant upper extremity injury.
