Elliot Health System (EHS) is the largest provider of comprehensive healthcare services in Southern New Hampshire. The cornerstone of EHS is Elliot Hospital, a 296-bed acute care facility located in Manchester (New Hampshire's largest city). Established in 1890, Elliot Hospital offers Southern New Hampshire communities caring, compassionate, and professional patient service, regardless of race, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or ability to pay.
EHS is home to Manchester’s designated Regional Trauma Center, Urgent Care Centers, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Elliot Physician Network, Elliot Specialists, Elliot Regional Cancer Center, Elliot Senior Health Center, Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire, Elliot 1-Day Surgery & Endoscopy Center, and Elliot at River’s Edge.
The Elliot Health System’s Emergency Department is a 32-bed, full-service, Level II Trauma Center, providing the best possible care for our patients and their families and managing in excess of 57,000 patient visits per year. Our department delivers extraordinary coverage, consisting of board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and trauma and critical care surgeons. Our trauma team is readily available, 24/7, to manage and treat traumatic needs of any child or adult in the community by board-certified or board-eligible trauma and critical care surgeons.
Delivering the most babies in the region, our specialty-trained board-certified physicians and certified nurse midwives are experts at providing you and your baby with compassionate care and exceptional attention. As the only maternity center in the area with a full suite of labor and delivery rooms and postpartum rooms, we have the expertise and flexibility to manage all of our patients’ birthing needs.
The Elliot’s NICU team is committed to providing superb care specific to the needs of patients and their babies. Our state-of-the-art facility houses 34 beds, where we treat more than 600 critically ill and premature infants each year. Here, in a nurturing environment, our special patients receive the comprehensive personalized care that allows them to thrive.
Highly regarded for being at the forefront of pediatric medicine in New Hampshire, we have a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), an expert interdisciplinary team of medical professionals and an array of specialized pediatric medical and surgical services.
Elliot Hospital was a pioneer in oncology when it opened the first cancer center in New Hampshire in 1966. Today, the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care remains a leader in cancer care as we incorporate radiation oncology, medical oncology, state-of-the-art technology, skilled healthcare providers, and an accessible, aesthetically pleasing, comforting environment together in one convenient location. All of these are important factors toward the goals of successful treatment and comprehensive care close to home.
The Cardiology Department offers comprehensive diagnostic testing, interventions, education, and rehabilitation for individuals with heart disease.

Elliot Hospital offers valet parking for visitors and outpatients, weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no charge for this service, however tips are appreciated. In addition, the hospital has an adjacent parking garage, also free of charge.
