Elliot Hospital Associates – Meet the President, Eva Martel

Eva Martel began her term as president of the Elliot Hospital Associates on July 1, 2022. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role, succeeding Dorothy Sutherland Kelley, who accomplished a great deal in her four years as president.

Eva started working at the Elliot in March 1971. Her 50 years as an employee culminated in her role as director of managed care contracting for the Elliot Health System entities. She retired in May 2021. Before her retirement, Eva joined the Associates, and has served as chair of the Finance Committee for four years. Eva’s love of the Elliot is readily apparent in who she is and all she does.

As president of the Elliot Hospital Associates, Eva serves on the Elliot Health System Board of Trustees, bringing an important voice to the administration.
