Honoring 6,335 Years of Employee Service with Special Milestone Event

On October 3, Elliot Health System and SolutionHealth hosted our annual employment milestone event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Manchester. The evening celebrated the dedication and loyalty of employees who have served for 5 to 60 years, with milestones recognized in 5-year increments. These employees have served our community for a total of 6,335 years! 

The event’s theme, "Through the Years," gave a nod to a yearbook style, capturing the growth and lasting memories of employees within the organization. Around 520 guests gathered for a cocktail hour and dinner to honor their achievements and those of their peers.  

Among the honorees was Linda Currier, who has devoted 60 years of service to Elliot Health System. She says, "I’ve had the privilege of working in so many areas—OR, ER, Med/Surg, Recovery, and now the Pain Management Center—and I’ve loved it all because of the people. Things have changed so much, especially with technology, that it never felt like the same place or got boring." It’s no wonder her colleagues call her “a gift.” 

Elliot Health System President and CEO Dr. Greg Baxter, and Elliot Board of Trustees Chair James Tenn, Jr. Esquire, kicked off the event with opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of each individual’s contributions to the organization’s success and the wellbeing of the communities we serve. The senior leadership team followed, presenting awards to the honorees.

This event is an important tradition and a reminder of the dedication and commitment of the staff who have built careers caring for our community.
