Bringing Smiles and Joy to Elliot Hospital Pediatric Patients with New Innovative Technology

An exciting, innovative technology has arrived in Elliot Hospital's pediatric department. The Vecta Budii Mobile-Sensory Station, or “Budii” is a mobile sensory station designed to help young patients and their families during hospital visits.  

Budii interacts with children in a variety of sensory experiences, including entertainment, development, and therapy. With features like: 

Interactive Bubble Column- non-breakable mirrors and a continuous flow of calming bubbles make Budii either exciting or relaxing 

SNAP Projector- changes any surface into a play area that responds to the slightest movements. This projection technology offers learning, communication, and sensory exploration opportunities, from calm water scenes to exciting quizzes 

Fiber Optic Tails- with their bright display of colors, allow both visual and touch stimulation, ideal for fine motor development and soothing 

Budii is portable, making it flexible enough to use throughout the hospital. The technology is made possible thanks to the generosity of a grateful pediatric family through their private family foundation to the Mary and John Elliot Charitable Foundation and the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
