Here at The Elliot, we are dedicated to building healthier lives and communities.  We have a deep commitment to provide the highest quality health care services to all of our patients safely, effectively and compassionately. We are also a great partner to our community in promoting health and wellness.  Elliot Hospital is involved in community outreach projects throughout the southern New Hampshire region to provide services, support, and education in a variety of ways.  Fulfilling our mission to inspire wellness, heal our patients and serve with compassion requires engaging with our patients, collaborating with community stakeholders and collectively strategizing to improve the well-being of all.

Community Investments and Strategic Giving

We actively participate in many area initiatives and support many worthy organizations who are making an impact in our community.   We value the opportunity to align our Mission, Vision and Values to support positive, impactful community engagement. As a nonprofit organization and community partner, we provide support throughout our service area by actively engaging and building strong relationships with key community stakeholders, businesses and organizations who impact the communities we serve.

Through The Elliot’s community engagement efforts, we have provided financial support, staff and services to hundreds of non-profit organizations, activities, groups and initiatives over the last several years whose focus aligns with ours - helping members of our communities live their best life.   

Our leaders also volunteer their time to offer expertise and strategic support in board roles with many local community partners, including the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, Easter Seals of NH, Waypoint, Catholic Charities New Hampshire, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, St. Anselm College and more.

Health Education

Elliot Health System has been providing community health services to residents of the Greater Manchester area for more than a century. We promote wellness by providing health assessments, health clinics, education, fitness resources, and referrals.

Community Benefits Reporting

Together with public health organizations, town leadership, schools, and community organizations, we complete Community Health Needs Assessments every three years to determine the health needs of the communities we serve. We work together with our partners to develop and support implementation strategies to address the identified needs of our community as detailed in our annual Community Benefits Report.
