Helping Women and Children thrive during one of the most important times in the life of their family.

Please check all areas of interest. Even a few hours during the year on a single project would be most helpful and qualifies you as an active volunteer.

Nursing Home Without Walls volunteers needed to assist elders in the community in efforts to maintain their independence at home. Some of the tasks would be: offer telephone reassurance(with scripted questions); transportation; socialization, and other specific tasks they may need. This would be a great way to “give back” to some of the seniors in our community.

VNA Personal Services volunteers needed to assist with the mailing of birthday cards to clients; assist with telephone calls to clients to assess customer satisfaction and other tasks as appropriate. This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who could devote a few hours one or two times a month.

Speakers Bureau: volunteers needed to speak about VNA services and porgrams to organizations, church groups, etc.

Unsure: wish to discuss with Volunteer Coordinator.
