Miguel M. Gaeta, MD recently joined the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care (TESSCC) at the Massachusetts General Hospital in a joint effort with Elliot General Surgical Specialists to continue their efforts and build upon the excellent Trauma and Emergency Surgical Care already offered to patients at Elliot.

Dr. Gaeta received a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Riverside and his Medical Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and General Surgical Residency at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

Dr Cooros recently joined the Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (TRACS) department here at The Elliot. He comes from a busy Level 2 trauma center in northern Pennsylvania where he was actively involved in the general surgery residency program. He is comfortable managing all aspects of emergency and elective general surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care.

Adam Rembisz brings to this role a great deal of emergency medical experience with over 6 years as an EMT in emergency services and transport.  In 2011, he began his nursing career as an emergency department (ED) nurse at Beverly Hospital in Massachusetts where he was proactive in policy development and practice improvements.  For the first year and a half at Elliot Adam has worked in the Elliot ED in the role of a staff RN.  Adam shares a passion for promoting nursing within the Elliot Hospital. He has served as the chair for the Emergency Department unit practice council initiating process improvement work at the unit level.

   

John Leary

Trauma Pre-Hospital Care Coordinator

John Leary, MBA, RN, NR-Paramedic is the Trauma Pre-hospital Care Coordinator at Elliot Hospital. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. John is both a Registered Nurse and National Registered Paramedic with 25 years’ experience in both emergency and trauma services. He has been actively involved in trauma program development, implementation and evaluation at both the local and state level for multidisciplinary approach to providing care to the injured trauma patient.

Robert Parisien, MD

Orthopaedic Traumatologist & Fracture Surgery

Primary Focus of Interest: Orthopaedic Trauma, Fracture Surgery, and Shoulder Replacement Surgery

Dr. Parisien has been in practice for 10 years specializing in adult and pediatric orthopaedic traumatology and fracture surgery. He moved to NH in 2010 after being in practice in Portland, Maine for 6 years. He is a graduate of the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and was the chief orthopaedic resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in his senior year. He did a fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s hospital finishing in 2004.

He graduated with honors from Dartmouth Medical School in 1999 and was elected to the AOA honor society. Prior to his medical career he was a professional athlete. He is a former member of the US Ski Team and competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. He was a member of the United States Ski Team from 1987 to 1992.
