We offer comprehensive lab testing and diagnostics. If you need testing, we provide safe and convenient options across a variety of locations.

It is the mission of the Elliot Hospital Laboratory to deliver outstanding healthcare while meeting the unique laboratory needs of our community. We are committed to maintaining a reputation of trust, respect and responsibility through the delivery of quality patient care, excellence in performance, exceptional customer service, and support for our healthcare providers.

The Elliot Hospital Laboratory provides all of our patients quality diagnostic results through the use of state-of-the-art instrumentation and highly educated and trained Medical Laboratory Scientists. We provide safe and convenient blood drawing locations throughout southern New Hampshire, staffed with fully trained and caring phlebotomists.

Elliot Laboratory Services is certified and/or accredited by College of American Pathologists (CAP), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), American Associations of Blood Banks (AABB) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our team works with your provider to provide accurate diagnoses and the most effective treatment.

How to obtain lab results

Once testing is completed, we will route your results to your provider. If you are a SolutionHealth MyChart user, your results will be available on your portal once testing is completed.

Visit mychart.solutionhealth.org to log in or to create an account.  We will let you know as soon as your results are ready. Talk to your doctor for more specific information on the timeline for your testing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. All our sites are available to you for specimen needs. Please note, semen analysis testing is the only specimen that must be collected at home and delivered to the laboratory at Elliot Hospital within an hour of collection and between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 am. Contact the Elliot Hospital Lab to schedule an appointment at 603-663-3555.

Only Glucose Tolerance Testing requires an appointment. These tests take up to three hours, so you will be given a date and time from your physician's office. Your physician's staff will set this appointment up for you

In most cases, fasting is not eating or drinking eight to twelve hours prior to testing. Patients can only have water. However, fasting can vary, and if there is any question, you should contact your physician's office to verify what they would like you to do.

Please contact your physician's office for information about taking your medications.

The answer to this can vary a great deal depending on the nature of the testing, processing time, etc. All results will be forwarded to your physician in a timely manner. Stat testing or critical work is prioritized, and your physician will be contacted immediately.

Note: We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
