Meet The Staff

Santharam Yadati, MD

Santharam Yadati, MD brings 32 years of experience in psychiatric medicine to Elliot Behavioral Health.  Dr. Yadati has extensive experience in both clinical and emergency psychiatry, counseling, electroconvulsive therapy, special program development, research, lecturing and teaching.  He will provide general psychiatric services.  Dr. Yadati offers assistance with depression, bi-polar disorders, schizophrenia, end of life issue, developmental disabilities, drug and alcohol abuse and psychopharmacology. 

Prior to joining Elliot Health System, Dr. Yadati held positions at: V. A. Medical Center, Manchester; Center for Life Management, Salem; Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua and Greater Nashua Mental Health Center, Nashua.

Dr. Yadati was named Top Psychiatrist of New Hampshire by his peers in New Hampshire Magazine in 2005 and 2006.  He obtained his Medical degree (M.B.B.S.) in India, is certified by the American Medical Association and has completed his Psychiatry training at University of Kansas at Wichita.   Dr. Yadati  successfully completed course work and has experience in Geriatric Psychiatry, Clinical Psychopharmacology and ECT.  He has been a practicing psychiatrist in NH since 1982.

Jodi Carner-Higgins, MS, CS, ARNP

Jodi Carner-Higgins, MS, CS, ARNP, is board certified as a clinical specialist in child and adolescent psychiatric and mental health nursing. She specializes in the psychopharmacological management of symptoms associated with AD/HD, mood/depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders.

Jodi is a graduate of Mt. Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA, Emory University-Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Atlanta, GA, and Boston University-Graduate School of Nursing. Jodi has over 20 years of experience in both in-patient and outpatient mental health.

Faith Minard, ARNP

Faith Minard, ARNP, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and has worked in the greater Manchester area since 1983. She provides counseling and medication management to adults. Faith specializes in women’s issues including emotional aspects of pregnancy, postpartum, depression/anxiety, infertility, pregnancy loss and adult ADHD. She is a graduate of Bates College, Lewiston, ME and holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Yale University, New Haven, CT.

Linda Bagshaw, LCMHC

Linda Bagshaw, LCMHC, specializes in children, adolescents and young adults with cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities. She treats clients diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and Conduct Disorder, depression, anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder and obsessive-compulsive behavior. She also provides therapy to clients who have been sexually abused or molested and children with Reactive Attachment Disorder.

Linda counsels children who have lost a parent through suicide, divorce, abandonment, abuse or neglect and works with foster children and children living in a group home setting. She has prepared teens for independent living, including teaching parenting skills to pregnant teens.

She obtained a Bachelors degree from Springfield College of Human Services, Springfield, MA and received a Masters degree from Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH. Linda is a licensed clinical mental health counselor.

Tracey Coulon, LICSW

Tracey Coulon LICSW, brings many years of training and experience in counseling to Elliot Behavioral Health Services. She specializes in women's issues, parenting, PTSD, depression, anxiety and self esteem. She has an eclectic approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, relational cultural and others to suit the person she is working with to best meet their needs and goals. Tracey has been trained in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which are highly effective treatments for PTSD symptoms.

She received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Springfield College School of Human Services, Springfield, MA, and Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work, Boston, MA. Tracey is licensed by the NH Board of Mental Health as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

Shawne D. Diaz, MA, LCMHC

Shawne D. Diaz, MA, LCMHC, practices adult individual counseling and group anger management. She is experienced in crisis intervention, short-term inpatient treatment and works within a cognitive behavioral framework. She specializes in adults with depression/anxiety disorders, ADHD, divorce, grief and particularly likes focusing on wellness issues.

Ms. Diaz graduated from Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. She completed her internship at the Community Internship Collaborative in Manchester, NH. She is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of New Hampshire.

Dawn Wyman, LICSW

Dawn Wyman is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She enjoys working with individuals across the life span including children, adolescents, adults and families that are dealing with issues that inhibit growth and well being. Her specialties include women's issues, adoption, foster Care, health care, trauma, attachment, LGBT issues, and cultural diversity. Dawn has a special interest in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adjustment/mood disorders, health and wellness issues. Her approach is solution focused and includes a strength based perspective. Narrative therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, play therapy, attachment therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation are often used.

Dawn attended Smith College and later earned her Master's Degree from Simmons College School for Social Work in 2008. She completed her first internship at Exeter Hospital Outpatient Oncology where she worked with individuals who had cancer and their families. Dawn completed her second internship in Community Mental Health working with children, adolescents, and their families. She spent the following 4+ years working with children and adolescents in foster care and the juvenile justice system. Dawn enjoyed helping each child achieve the highest level of legal permanency possible.  This past year, Dawn has been working in the community mental health setting with adults who have chronic mental illness.

Brian Bedard, M.A., LCMHC

Brian specializes in general individual psychotherapeutic and group psychoeducational services for adults and adolescents.  His area of special interest is in assisting fathers improve the quality of their relationships with their children. 

He received his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Notre Dame College, Manchester in 2002 and interned at The Community Internship Collaborative also in Manchester.  Here, he began his psychotherapy practice.  Upon graduation, Brian joined the Community Council of Nashua first as an Inpatient Emergency Service Clinician at The Crisis Center and later transitioned into a position as an Outpatient Clinical Case Manager where he provided individual, group, and family therapy for adult persons who suffered from chronic mental illness. 

Prior to joining Elliot Behavioral Health Services, Brian worked for the Division for Juvenile Justice Services as a Treatment Coordinator and Therapist for the State of New Hampshire at the Sununu Youth Services Center, secure residential treatment, in Manchester.    His experience also includes providing emergency department based psychosocial/crisis evaluations. 

Brian is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of New Hampshire. 

Patricia (Trish) Fillio, LCMHC

Patricia Fillio (“Trish”) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who enjoys working with people of all ages and has experience providing treatment for such challenges as anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, ADHD, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, emotional regulation including anger management, domestic violence, trauma recovery, and interpersonal relationship challenges.   Her experience with treatment delivery has included crisis management, long term therapeutic treatment and short term problem solving treatment within individual, couples and family settings. 

She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from Salem State University and her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New England College. Prior to joining Elliot Behavioral Health Services Trish has worked with children and families involved with the Department of Health and Human Services and within an integrated care setting combining behavioral health treatment with physical health treatment.  Trish is actively involved with New Hampshire’s Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team and is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Kristy Moen LICSW, MLADC

Kristy Moen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of New Hampshire.  She has special interest in Substance Use Disorders, Trauma and Women's Issues.  She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities based on client centered care including- Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilizing the Stages of Change when working with patients.  
Prior to joining Elliot Behavioral Health Services, Kristy held positions at the New Hampshire Prison System since 2008, including Program Coordinator of Women Services, Senior Psychiatric Social Worker at the Secure Psychiatric Unit and most recently as a Mental Health Clinician for women and providing staff trainings in Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Services within the Prison System.  She was also employed at a Community Mental Health Center for eight years as an Employment Specialist/Team Leader of the Individual Placement and Support Team where she provided support and symptom management techniques to assist individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness find employment in the community. 

Kristy received her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2000 and Master's in Social Work  from the University of New Hampshire in 2008.

Hannah McGlaughlin Hannah McLaughlin, LCMHC

Hannah McLaughlin (LCMHC) is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She works with patients in a client-centered manner to provide treatment for challenges such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, emotional regulation including anger management, grief and loss, substance use and interpersonal relationship challenges.

Prior to joining Elliot Behavioral Health Service (EBHS), Hannah worked within a therapeutic alternative school providing counseling services to children and adolescents who struggle with mental illness combined with learning disabilities. She has experience working with children, adolescents and their families who are involved in foster care, DCF and the juvenile court systems.  Hannah also has experience in crisis intervention and working with adults in in-patient psychiatric settings.  She uses a solution oriented approach to treatment that embraces a strength based perspective.  CBT, problem solving treatment, narrative therapy, expressive arts therapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing are often used.

Hannah obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH, college of Liberal Arts (COLA). She received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapies from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA. She is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Hannah McGlaughlin Melinda Chernev MSN, APRN

Melinda Chernev MSN, APRN is board certified as a clinical nurse specialist in adult psychiatric and mental health nursing. She provides counseling and medication management to adults; specializing in mood/depressive disorders and anxiety disorders.

Melinda is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. She also holds a MSN in nursing administration from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM and a MSN as an advanced practice registered nurse from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM.

Melinda’s prior experience also includes working within the correctional system in New Mexico providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment. After relocating to New Hampshire, she has worked on the acute psychiatric unit at Elliot Hospital.
