How to Make an Appointment:
You will need a physician referral or prescription for therapy. Contact our central scheduling team at (603)-663-3672 and a member of our staff can assist you in scheduling at any of our locations. If your referral or prescription is faxed to us by your physician’s office, our scheduler will contact you within 24 hours to set up an appointment. Our central scheduling fax is (603)-663-8482
We accept most insurances including: Anthem, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, United Health Care, Medicare and Medicaid. When we schedule your first appointment, we will ask for your insurance information so that we can find out what your rehab benefit is, including any co-pays. If you have any specific questions benefit questions, please contact your insurance company.
How can physical therapy help me?
One of our licensed physical therapist will thoroughly evaluate your condition and identify the source of your discomfort or dysfunction. Once evaluated, the clinician can develop a treatment program that specifically addresses your condition. may involve manual therapy, exercise, or modalities. You may also receive instruction in a home exercise program as well as education on ways to on proper body mechanics and posture to prevent re-occurance.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Please plan on arriving 30 minutes before the start of your appointment to complete your new patient paperwork, medical history and information pertaining to your injury. Bring along your physician's referral, your insurance card and wear comfortable clothes.
At this time, you will meet with a clinician who will conduct an evaluation of your injury/condition. It is a time for your therapist to get to know you so that they may better understand your injury. This may include checking range of motion, strength, posture, balance, and other specific special tests. At every step of your therapy, we will explain what is going on and how therapy can help treat the injury/condition. We will create a treatment plan and we'll discuss with you how often you will need to attend therapy. We encourage you to ask questions at any time during your therapy!
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring with you your insurance card and any prescription for therapy from your referring practitioner. Our therapists cannot complete the evaluation without orders from the doctor, physician’s assistant,
or nurse practitioner.
What should I wear to my appointments?
Your comfort is important to us! Try and wear something that you feel comfortable in because your therapy may include stretching and/or exercising. Keep in mind that the therapist will need to access the body part that needs evaluation. Loose pants or shorts for hip, knee, and ankle problems, and loose tops or tank tops for neck, shoulder, and elbows problems are recommended. If we need to assess your spine, you may be asked to put on patient gown.
