Meet Our Preceptors
Laura Dolan, RPh
Laura Dolan is a Clinical Pharmacist at Elliot Hospital. Laura currently staffs the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Cardiac ICU and Medical Surgical floors. She precepts the General Internal Medication rotation for PGY-1 residents and is actively involved in the Medication Safety Committee and Practitioner Orientation.
She earned her BS in Pharmacy in 1991 from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI and has over 17 years experience as a hospital pharmacist. Laura has precepted IPPE and APPE students from various colleges of pharmacy including University of Rhode Island, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Northeastern University and University of Connecticut. Her current area of interest is critical care, particularly renal and sedation.
Donna Farrar, Pharm.D.
Donna Farrar, Pharm. D., is a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at the Elliot Hospital. She currently staffs in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Post Surgical and Medical Surgical floors She precepts the Nutrition Rotation in the PGY1 residency program.
Dr. Farrar graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy- Boston in 2005. She also serves as an instructor for APPE students from MCPHS, University of Connecticut, and Northeastern University. Along with Nutrition, Dr. Farrar's areas of interest include: pediatrics and the antimicrobial stewardship program.
Joe Robert Glew MS, RPh
Rob Glew is the Director of Pharmacy Services for the Elliot Health System. His areas of responsibility include: hospital pharmacy, employee pharmacy and medication clinics. Rob precepts the practice management rotation for the residency program and his areas of involvement include: Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Medication Reconciliation Committee, Patient Care Committee, Medication Safety Committee, Nursing Quality Council, Medical Informatics Committee and the Performance Enhancement Committee.
Rob graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services in Boston, MA. He achieved his Masters in Management with a focus on Healthcare Administration from the New England College, Henniker, NH in 2010. Prior to joining the Elliot, Rob was the Pharmacy Operations Manager at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH. His current areas of interest include: cardiology, anticoagulation and emergency preparedness.
Jamie Godin, Pharm.D.
Jamie Godin, Pharm.D. is a Clinical Pharmacist at the Elliot Hospital. She currently staffs in the Emergency Department and the Central Pharmacy. Dr. Godin serves as the Infectious Disease preceptor for PGY-1 residents.
Dr. Godin earned a doctor of pharmacy degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston, MA. She also assists in precepting sixth year pharmacy students and discussing current infectious disease topics. Her areas of interest include: antimicrobial stewardship, medication reconciliation and emergency medicine.
Joseph Kvetkosky, Pharm.D.
Joseph Kvetkosky is a Clinical Pharmacist at Elliot Hospital. Dr Kvetkosky currently staffs in the Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal ICU, Cardiac ICU, Emergency Department, Post Surgical and Medical Surgical floors. He is currently involved in several Medication Safety Initiatives for Labor and Delivery. He precepts residents during the orientation phase of the residency.
Dr. Kvetkosky earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI. He has over 8 years experience as a pharmacist and has precepted students from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, University of Connecticut and University of Rhode Island. His current areas of interest include: infectious disease and neonatal care.
Marianne Miscioscia, Pharm.D.
Marianne Miscioscia, Pharm.D. is the Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist at the Elliot Hospital. She precepts residents during the required pediatric rotation with combined pediatrics and newborn intensive care unit experiences.
Dr. Miscioscia earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Northeastern University. She then completed a pharmacy practice residency at Boston Medical Center in 2007. Before coming to the Elliot, she worked at Children's Hospital Boston and Boston Medical Center in both general pediatrics and pediatric intensive care. Dr. Miscioscia's areas of interest focus on pediatric intensive care, pediatric sedation and pharmacokinetics. She is a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group and American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Molly S. Mortimer, Pharm.D., BCPS
Molly Mortimer is Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Elliot Hospital. She is the PGY-1 Residency Program Director as well as the Preceptor for Adult Critical Care. Her areas of involvement include: Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Anticoagulation Work Group and Medication Safety.
Dr. Mortimer completed a PGY-1 Residency program at the Boston VA Medical Center, Boston, MA in 1998. Prior to joining the Pharmacy Team at Elliot, she was an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Her current areas of interest include: sedation and infusion pump technology.
