Because kids don’t always develop or behave as expected

Children may develop or behave differently for a variety of reasons. To help figure this out and promote optimal development, your child may need a specialist with specific training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.

Designed for children and adolescents…New Hampshire Hospital for Children

If your child is not developing as expected, or has unexplained behavioral issues, your pediatrician or family doctor may refer you to one of our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians for further evaluation. We also take referrals from mental health providers, schools, early supports and services, and other agencies. New Hampshire’s Hospital for Children is proud to provide the community with the services of our experienced Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians.

Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians often evaluate or treat children with the following conditions:

  •      Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  •      Autism Spectrum Disorders (Autism, Asperger Syndrome,
         Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD)
  •      Behavioral Difficulties of typically developing children
  •      Behavioral and Emotional Disorders
